18th Century Cut Steel Guard Chain pyrite and two points at theDATE: Georgian, c. 1750 Cool mid 18th century cut steel guard chain, circa 1750. It features bow shaped links, each on with "beads" and "facets", cut and polished to glint and glisten in candlelight. The links are joined together by four steel hoops. It's substantial and, although displaying some wear, remains in great overall condition measuring 34 inches in length.
